The banking and finance teaching unit focuses on the fundamental aspects of financial and banking management. It covers topics such as:  

• Principles of Finance: The basics of managing the finances of businesses and individuals, including the concepts of risk, return, and financial analysis.
• Banking economics: The study of banking institutions, the financial products they offer, and their role in the global economy.
• Financial markets: Analysis of financial markets, securities such as stocks and bonds, as well as derivative products.
• Risk management: Financial risk management techniques, including the assessment of credit, market and operational risks.
• Regulation and compliance: Understanding of the regulations that govern the banking sector, such as prudential standards (Basel III), and compliance with legal obligations.
